This month, we’re diving into one of the biggest parts of building and holding a real estate portfolio: property management.

We’ll be sitting down with our very own Cody Albright, a Baton Rouge native, buy-and-hold investor, and the lead problem solver at Bird Dog Properties BR LLC. Cody brings experience across multifamily, industrial, retail, and commercial real estate, along with plenty of hands-on experience dealing with tenants, contractors, operations, and the day-to-day realities of owning rental property.

We’ll talk about what good property management actually looks like, common mistakes landlords make, handling tenants and maintenance, building better systems, and when it may make sense to manage yourself versus bringing in a property manager.

As always, we’ll keep the conversation practical, leave plenty of room for questions, and wrap up with time to network with other local investors, agents, lenders, contractors, and real estate professionals.
