May Meetup: Demystifying the Baton Rouge Permitting Process
Join us Tuesday, May 6th at 6:30 PM at Red Stick Social for a deep dive into one of the more complicated and sometimes frustrating parts of real estate investing in Baton Rouge: permits.
This month, we'll be joined by panelist Elliott Grand as we break down the ins and outs of the permitting process:
- What’s required (and what isn’t)
- Where the bottlenecks are
- Real issues we’ve run into—and how we handled them
Also joining us along with Elliot, we're pleased to welcome Councilwoman Laurie Adams to our panel to discuss how our new mayor is getting involved in some of these processes and the impact this has on real estate investors in BR.
But this isn’t just a discussion—it’s a chance to shape the future of permitting in Baton Rouge. More specifically, we're calling on YOU- builders, remodelers, developers and contractors for YOUR input. Bring your thoughts, ideas and questions for our panel to address.
We’ll also be discussion our collaboration with the City of Baton Rouge to help improve the permitting process. We need feedback from you—our local investor, builder, and developer community—to make that effort count.
